Qualification for Admission Application

• The minimum qualification for admission is SSC pass with Maths & Science. The candidate should have passed the S.S.C. examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education.
• Other State candidates will be admitted as per DVET rules.
• Candidates must possess Indian Nationality.
• Candidates shall be between the ages of 14 and 40 years, (candidate should have completed the age of 14 on 31st July of the year of admission).
• No employee (Full-time or Part time) shall be admitted.
• Medical Examination will be conducted of those candidates selected for admission and only those who are physically fit for the training shall be finally admitted.

How to Apply for Admission

1. Applications are invited for ITI admission in two categories 1) Online 2) Offline

Note: Online registration on Govt website www.admission.dvet.gov.in as prescribed by the Director or Vocation Education and Training. is mandatory without which the candidate cannot enter in the further admission process for both online & offline mode.

2. Offline admission for Institute quota & Minority Quota seats (Note: Online Registration is a must on Govt admission portal)

Application for admission in the prescribed form should be submitted to the ITI Office. The application complete in all respects, in the prescribed printed form together with the necessary documents should reach the Admission Cordinator / ITI Office on or before 4 p.m. of the last application submission date scheduled for Institute Quota seats & Catholic Minority quota seats.

Application form or any of the certificate received after the last date prescribed shall not be entertained.

3. The application must be accompanied by the following original & copies of the documents (Self attested copies only)

• Application confirmation form, confirmed by the ITI.
• SSC Marksheet.
• Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate for the last school/college attended.
• SSC Marksheet with equivalency certificate obtained from Maharashtra State Board for Other State candidate.
• Baptism certificate if applicable.
• Caste certificate with non creamy layer certificate if applicable.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Passing Intermediate Drawing Examination if applicable.
• Proficiency certificate in games / sports by way of active participation at the district level, state level or national level, up to the S.S.C./H.S.C. State if applicable.
• Prescribed certificate of being physically handicapped if applicable.

A candidate can apply for admission to any of the four trades (Draughtsman mechanical, Fitter, Electrician and Mechanic Motor Vehicle)

RESERVATION OF SEATS

51% seats are reserved for Christian Minority candidate.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Admission for Academic Year 2024 – 2025 Are Open

Application for admission will not be considered and will be rejected unless it is:

• Properly and correctly filled in the prescribed form by the candidate and accompanied by the prescribed. Registration fee (in cash or by Money Order)
• Accompanied by the attested copies of the requisite Certificates in respect of the claims made in the application.
• Received in the Office of the Admission Cell on or before the last date and by the time prescribed.

If any of the statements made in the application form or any information supplied by the candidate in connection with his admission is at any time found to be false or incorrect, such candidate will not be considered for admission, and if already admitted, his admission will be cancelled, fees forfeited and he may be expelled from the Institute.

Terms

The academic year commences around 1st August. The time table is adjusted to the requirements of each trade. The students have to put in 42 hours per week at the institute.
